Visitor Center

The Guernsey Visitor Center is located at 90 S. Wyoming, one block south off Highway 26. The center also includes a museum. Open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Guernsey has an abundance of recreational sites. The beautiful Guernsey State park and Lake Guernsey are only two miles northwest of town. Water skiers, boaters, picnicers, campers, hikers, bikers, wildlife lovers and bird watchers all enjoy the bounty of the Guernsey State Park area. Deer, antelope, bald eagles, wild turkeys and part of the Wyoming State buffalo herd can be seen at the State Park. The North Platte River offers canoeing, rafting and great fishing. The three municipal parks in Guernsey are clean, green and welcome respite to the weary traveler.
