ORDINANCE 2016-001

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 07-07-006, 11-05, 97-04-001. FEES FOR UTILITY TAPS AND UPGRADES FOR THE TOWN OF GUERNSEY, WYOMING:

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF GUERNSEY, WYOMING

Ordinance 2016-001 is hereby created to read as follows:

SECTION 1: TAP FEES

            There is hereby established the following fees for utility taps.

Electrical        Installed on nearest utility pole or transformer to the property.

    Residential Tap:                                              $      600.00

    Commercial or Industrial Tap:                        $      600.00 (plus cost of equipment, material and labor)
   
    Upgrade:
                                                         $      600.00

 


Water             Meter and supply line installed to the property line by the Town of                                                  Guernsey.

                        Residential Tap (1")                                        $   1,800.00

                        Commercial or Industrial Tap(2")                   $   3,000.00

                        Commercial or Industrial Tap (4")                  $   6,000.00

                        Commercial or Industrial Tap (6")                  $ 10,000.00

 


Sewer              Sewer lateral installed to the property line by the Town of Guernsey.

                        Residential Tap (4")                                        $  1,200.00

                        Commercial or Industrial Tap (4")                  $  1,500.00

                        Commercial or Industrial Tap (6")                  $  4,000.00

                        Commercial or Industrial Tap (8")                  $  7,500.00

SECTION 2:  REPEALER CLAUSE

            All other ordinances, resolutions or by-laws, or parts of any ordinances, resolutions or by-laws in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3:  SEVERABILITY

            If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this ordinance shall for any reason be held to be invalid or unenforceable, the invalidity or unenforceability of such part shall not affect any of the remaining provisions of this ordinance.
